I think i already posted this question but it was gone the next day and i didnt get a chance to look at it.



Anyways i was wondering can you makes clones in effects lab.

you feasibly could, but effectslab isn't designed for it. its better to get clab and use that.

but anyhow, you can do split screen cloning, so long as the composite is set to normal for both clips. I'll tell you how to do it:

1) put camera on a tripod
2)film the actor doing his thing as the first person
3)film the same guy acting as the other character
4)import both clips to elab
5) Put a general (maybe 6 point) mask around the actor, and invert the mask. add a feather of about 20 or so.

that should work...

It can be done with EffectsLab but it's really much easier (and practically useful if you're creating complex shots) to use CompositeLab.
