Why do you have to download FXhome stuff?

On the web site, it says that the software is for download only. Why? I have a dial up (may it be spat on by a thousand camels) internet connection. It is very unreliable, so I'm afraid that I'll be downloading it and then POOF: "The server has unexpectedly hung up. Please check the connection and try again." That would be a hundred dollars out the window.

You can download the installer as much as you need/want. So it's not like you only get one chance at it. When you buy a license, you get your own unique product key, which is what you need in order to run the program.
Do you have a friend with broadband? Or could you go to an internet cafe?

What Hendo said is a good idea. Go to a friends or internet cafe, plug in your product key, and download it to a flash drive. Go home, install it on your comp.

Or use a download manager that will resume downloading from the amount downloaded if your connection goes.

I see you are on a Mac, try www.igetter.net
for a shareware download manager that is free to try. I've been using FXhome products on a dial-up connection since AlamDV1, and I have come to love iGetter. But not as much as my shiney new Broadband connection.
