At last! The script for my first SW: Jedi Remnant movie is finished! So I think you can expect either a teaser trailer or just a trailer in the Cinema section! Again, if this is spam, please delete.... smile

Hell no... For one reason and for one reason only; I don't want anyone stealing my idea. From my point of view, my idea is original. But, I will be making a website for the movie VERY soon. By the way, there will be a forum on the movie website, therefore, I need some moderators.

Alright, plot summary:

It is 1,000 years before the events of the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. The Old Republic is on the verge of collapse. The dark lord Darth Plaghos has plans to invade the heart of the ailing Republic, and cripple it forever. Master Vrook of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine has dispatched a small group of Jedi to negotiate with the rutheless Sith Lord....

I know, it's a very typical story (good guys try to foil bad guy's plan). But it is what lies within the movie that counts; action sequences, character development, etc. I hope this sort of excites some people.

I will definetely follow this one, and if you need a bit of help, I'll be happy. I might somewhat busy, as I am shooting my own film this summer, but I'll be happy to do what I can.

Cheers,

I'm not really sure how long it'd be... since this is my first movie, it'll be a bit short, so my estimated time for it would be at least 1 hour... maybe less.

I've tried a couple of times to make a good solid Star War movie. I just could never bring myself to do it since I know it'll never be as good as the ture series haha.

Oh and do anyone know of a good cheap Mac computer? Apple doesn't sell some of the slightly older models on their website, because they want me to buy the new expensive ones biggrin.

I just wanted to point out that Lucas went on record stating that the events of SW:KOTOR 1 and 2 only "occured" within the relm of the game, there is alot in those games that contradicts movie and novel lore...

Just thought id post this out of sheer bordom and incase you didnt wana upset any hardcore fan boys.

peace, and good luck.

it sounds good!

well, if your screen play was properly formated, it would come out to 60 pages. But I wouldn't expect it to be properly formatted. unsure

Garfield Street: Check into the Refurbished section of the Apple Store, and they have some great deals. Also look at the Mac Mini models. You can get one for $600 if you already have a monitor/keyboard/mouse.

You can also go to www.pricegrabber.com and try to find some older macs such as a Flatpanel iMac, or one of the older Mac Mini computers.

I've done some editing to the script, and it turned from 8 pages to 20 pages. By the way, how do I "properly" format it?

Download a free screenwriting program like CeltX. Check Oeyvind's Guide to Free Software for more free screenwriting programs. Personally, I use CeltX and I love it.

You could use Tarn's tutorial or a free scriptwriting program like CeltX. I use CeltX and I would highly recommend it.

Don't make it 1000 years before the clone wars. 1000 years before the clone wars is the stories of Exar Kun. Following the Madalorion wars which leads into Knights of the Old Republic. Maybe if you say before the wars of the Sith Lord Exar Kun and Quel Droma... and on the story goes on it might work better.

WTF! You ARE a Star Wars geek. Now, to be presice, it was 5,000 years when Exar Kun was present. 4,000 years for Knights of the Old Republic, which LEAD TO the Mandalorian Wars. wink
