3D particle effects...

Does anybody else here think that the particle effect should be more like the muzzle flash effect and be able to rotate and pivot on 2 axes? i just think that it would make this effect so much better.

Adding a full 3rd dimension to the particles is something we will be looking in to in the future.

Yeah this would be cool. For the time being it is possible to make the 2D particles look like they have a third dimension by adjusting the scale so they get smaller/bigger.

I agree with red - Particle systems bouncing off things would be cool. Also maybe things sticking - I saw a cool video of snow on a 3d bunny. Although I cant think of any other reasons for sticking particles other than snow!

3d particles would be sweet. I saw a vid somewhere showing another programs particle effects, They drew a line (that was invisible when rendered) that acted as a barier for the particles. Could we do somthing like that here?
