SW - Illusions of Power - {Experimental fanfilm}
Is a movie where we try to go beyond normal fanfilms by making new creative lightsaber battles, plus a Non-Jedi-Main-Character Story and lots of suspense.
The Lightsaber battles are inspired by Anime and other various fighting arts which defines the basis of the it, and loaded with extensive use of Greenscreen footage, cool new SW Ships, quality Visual Effects etc.
This fanfilm has been in pre-production for almost a year now, but perhaps still needs a year or 2 more to complete.

Story:
Three years after the purge of the Jedi Knights, a team of 5 Elite Bountyhunters/Mercenaries have been gathered by The Emperor to destroy the remnants of the Jedi.

After a year of Jedi hunting, their new mission seem to be the most difficult as they face an incredible strong former Jedi who aren't Sith nor Jedi anymore. A "Neutri" which have unnatural powers miles beyond normal jedis by the use of a forgotten Third-Side Lord's Holocron who lived thousands of years ago.

Hmm, more of a teaser. The full thing could be cool. Nice CG, sound like a decent story, fn editing. But the actual teaser wasn't all that interesting and the end was slow. I have some hopes for this and I hope this fan film is finished at some point. Everything was solid really, there just wasn't too much there to judge off of. Don't think it deserved a four. If you did the music, awesome job, brilliant. If not, cool music.

Thank you all.
I know the teaser trailer doesn't show much, which teasers normally don't do. But it was just something I smacked together with two of the CG-models made for this fanfilm.
Because I don't like showing too much in trailers, so thats why hold back on using everything I got.

The fanfilm itself will be distributed in 2 parts which will run for 20-30 minutes each.

NickD:
The lightsaber is a CG model of the real one, which the Neutri (Jedi-Sith) uses.

This looks amazing, the effects were beautiful! Can you please message me and tell me what software you used for them? Also, the only thing I would suggest is making the part when the shuttle goes to earth a little bit darker and add a little more contrast. GREAT JOB!!!!!

looks interesting, but there's a little typo that you might want to correct. You typed the plural of Jedi as "Jedi's". It is usually typed as "Jedi". Even if you wanted to use the "s" the apostrophe doesn't work unless you were mentioning something belonging to a Jedi. Of course that's a really minor detail that most people probably won't notice, but I would suggest that in a movie you will want to be careful to check for that kind of thing.
Really, though, the teaser looks very cool, the music is excellent and the effects are very effective-4/5. I look forward to the final release.

If my memory serves me well it's music by Alan Silvestri for the Van Helsing score. Right? smile It sounds like Alan...

Eitherway, nice work.

Cheers,

Yes.. it is Alan Silvestri's soundtrack for Van Helsing. First track (can't remember the name).

And everything in the trailer was made in Blender 3D
