New versions of all FXhome products are now available for download. Simply visit the 'My Programs' section of your FXhome.com user options to download the latest installers.

This is a recommended and free update for all existing users.

What's new?

Version 1.1.001 is mainly to fix a few issues that came up after the massive previous update - adding lots of new features is always going to throw you a few surprises!

  • CompositeLab Lite users will be pleased to hear that they can now use the Blur: angle grade filter. An early version of this filter had been available in Chromanator, so CompositeLab Lite now has all the features of its predecessor plus many more.
  • Grading objects and object masks should now render without any problems.
  • Exported Quicktime DV movies will now default to high quality playback when viewed in Quicktime Player.
  • Various other rendering improvements.

Thanks for correcting the blur angle. I still can't get over how fast you guys can fix problems like that. If i told Adobe that they forgot the blur angle thing, if they fixed it it would be months later.

I have known programs where you wait months for a bug fix then they charge you for an upgrade. FX Home is just a whole another way of doing things. I love being part of this community, you guys do a fabulous job

Great service for great products from a great company! Its nice to know that those in charge actually USE the product and are chattie with the customers feedback (unlike other giant corporate companies).

I have a quick question. Is there still a discount on Visionlab for gold users or not? Thanks in advance.

Tarn,

I had a question about the udates. Normally, when I load the preset packs that I want, I go through them all and rename them so I can find them easier.

For instance, most muzzle flashes fall into pistol or automatic fire. So I normally go into the names and change them to:

Pistol1
Pistol2
Machinegun1
Machinegun2

etc. etc.

It's easier for me to find them as such for me when I categorize them.

However, I've noticed that when I install the updates, and it loads all the presets automatically, I have to rename them again. Is there anyway to remedy this?

Thanks
