Hey guys and girls,

Just putting a final shout out for anybody who hasn't yet brought the Project. One DVD. I'm printing the final batch of sleeves and burning the final disks tonight, if you haven't yet brought the lovely DVD and would like to please try and order it before this weekend.

It's got some great reviews so far and the film itself is now entering into a few festivals, so I have to stop selling it via the internet to comply with some festival rules.

You can order it from here:

www.projectone-movie.com

Any questions please ask, and if you aren't sure, check out some of the feedback in this thread:

http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23845

Cheers
Joby

I want to, but for some reason PayPal isn't allowing me to put a shipping adress outside of the country my credit card is registered in... sad

I live in Sweden, but I'm German and so is my credit card / bank account. I really want to purchase a copy of the movie, but at the moment it looks like that ain't possible!

Exactly how much is the DVD, American? I don't have a credit card, but I may have enough in my PayPal account to shell out the cash for it, it's worth supporting just to show how awesome the GL2 (XM2) is. My friend bought Sundowning just to see the GL2's awesomeness. It wasn't that great.

But maybe Project One will be!

I believe that I'll be buying a copy tonight. I'll have to get a friend to buy it for me, but whatever, I'm sure it'll work, I'll just give him some cash and have him give it to me when he gets it.

Another thing, though, er-no. How long do you think it'll take to ship?

Shipped them all around the world.

Alaska
New Zealand
Sweden
Denmark
etc...

As for the number of copies sold. I couldn't possibly say. Sadly not as many as I thought, but I've just covered the costs (opps) and now this last batch allow me to put a bit aside to cover entering the film into festivals and maybe some cookies and snacks to be brought for the set of the next project wink

Just watched the dvd that came in the post today - excellent work guys, great camera work, great special effects, professional all the way through. That you shot it in such a short time and with zero budget is amazing. Definitely one to be very proud of and looking forward to the feature film!

What cameras did you use? The image quality was very high.

XM2. smile

Lots of filters and a lot of time grading it so it wasn't overdone and just slightly moved it away from the video feel, check out the before and after footage and have a chuckle at what it looked like before.

Thanks for the comment though, nice to receive some feedback on the very last batch!

How have you found the XM2? A few people on the forums have been critical of its reliability.

Great widescreen footage though, really very sharp. The colour grading on the forest footage was very effective. Was all the sound redubbed?

Quite simply the best camera I've ever used or owned/had. I've upgraded recently but still I look at my XM2 from time to time.. I'll miss it big time. It was fantastic and I put it through hell and it still came out good. Infact, it still works perfectly and has its own pelicase for when the time comes for a reunion smile

Every second of P1 it was redubbed and foley'd. Something I hadn't done ever before, and I only had four days to do it and learn ProTools. Headaches ensued!

All death noises and screams are me smile That was good fun, hitting myself around a microphone in the same direction as the action on the screen.
