Meh, same thing happened with me. Which sucked, because I really WANT to be good at filmmaking and want to have that as my thing, so I was mad/sad when I thought I had lost interest. Some Final Cut Express and enough ADD medication to finish a script was all I needed.

Eligible to get my license (have my permit), but am just too lazy to learn how to parallel park.

Also beginning to look into college.

don't take my word for this, but i've heard that film school isn't worth it, if that's where you're thinking of going. so be warned, and you should probably do the math and read up real good before making a decision. (just my 2cents)

Well I didn't say I was looking into film school now was I?

I dunno. Some great directors today didn't go to film school, some did... I really don't have any other specific interests big enough that I'd want to take an entire college curriculum based upon them. I'll see. Really, I'll make my own decision.

It's not that hard. I barely knew how to parallel and I still passed my driving test. Then again maybe it's just too easy to get a license in Michigan.

I'm also 16, eligible to drive, and too lazy to parallel park. My driving teacher said that since I was lazy, he was gonna make me do extra driving time to learn my lesson. Well I was too lazy to do that too.

Now I don't get my license 'til August 26th. That means I won't be able to drive to go to any SC location without depending on someone else, which is a huge drag. Life does indeed tend to suck sometimes.

Well if THAT were my scenario, I wouldn't be so lazy, but you're obviously a different story. razz

I'm thinking I'll get mine next week after this mini vacation/camp I'm taking.

The insurance will be through the roof once I get a license, and with gas over 3 bucks a gallon everywhere, I'm not sure if I'll even drive that much at all... So I guess that's why I'm so "lazy".

My drivers ed teacher forgot to teach me to parallel park, and I was lazy and did not get my licence untell I was 18, I then took the test in a van and passed it on my first try, now I don't know how I could live without a licence.

I dunno how anyone can live without driving either. I tried illegally driving a couple times, but once I went 5 minutes the wrong way down a one way street without noticing, I was done.

You think that's sad, last Christmas, as soon as I was done opening my GL2, I went and got the laptop and set it on my right knee the whole day. I checked the RSS, even during Christmas brunch. I'm hardcore.

Egads!

I'm 41 and evidently the oldest [and appearantly only] one in the 40 to 50 vote...

Yeah- I'm old... I admit it. The fact that I'm well over twice the age of some of you makes me feel somewhat "grandfatherly" if not ancient.

I found FXHome at 40... If my life ended in the next few hours and all that flashed before my eyes was my "FXHome Life"- it'd be painfully short and incredibly boring...

Aye yi, yi...

16. Found FXHome on 13 and a half. Since then I started liking filmmaking more and moreā€¦ and more! smile

FXHome brought me into the movieworld, and I wouldn't ever get out of it. If I knew how.

When I get out of school (hopefully when I'm 18.) I think I'd go to film school, here in Amsterdam.
I went to see some movies that people made there, as an exam, and it only encouraged me more to go there. All those negative things about filmschool are all very vague, and I wouldn't know what to do otherwise.
It just seems like a great place where I can develop my moviemaking abilities further.

yeah, that's generally true with me, but only when you have to be 18 or whatever to sign up for something... i remember i wanted a hotmail account a coupla years back and when i put in my birthdate (i was probably like 11 or 12 at the time), i submitted and it took me to a "MSN Family Account" sign-up page and i almost puked on the spot. so i forget if i ditched it or put in 18 as my age. but of course, that was before gmail... twisted and gmail trumps all other free services... mwahahahah. twisted

He doesn't have Lupus, but it's aa very severe case of rheumatic fever. Usually only people in their 70s get it, and even then the only symptom is arthritis. Atom's case is a little worse. Let's just say if forgets to take penicillin for a couple of days, he won't be able to get up the next day.
