24 style split screen [ANSWER]

Is there a tutorial on how to do this? I really need to know how to do the effect of a split screen for a phone conversation on screen. Is this easy to do? Thanks for you help.

Yeah, this is really easy to do. You put footage of one guy on the left side of your screen. Then you put footage of another guy on the right side of your screen. Use a mask on the top layer to hide half of the layer, so you can see the guy on the layer beneath.

Or if you want more than two clips at the same time, use the animation controls to scale down each clip so that they all fit on the same screen. If you want to add the time, add a mask to one of the clips which takes out a rectangle in the center, then copy and paste for each of the other clips.

As an aside, Axeman has created a preset for the beginning '24' into which is pretty cool, check it out here:

That is a sweet preset, but i didn't do it. That one is Wizard, all the way.
