Hi...

I'm going to buy >VisionLab Studio< as soon as possible. (I'm 17 and don't got that much money! I don't even think I've ever seen that much money (only on film)! Well... I got the demo.... I'll just take a little amount of money and clone them in VisionLab razz).

I understand that with VisionLab Studio I get:

- EffectsLab Pro & CompositeLab Pro in one and same program
- Free Updates
- Commercial License
- Exlusive features

But I was wondering about what exactly the Free Updates mean?

Is it because the software updates from for example version 1.001.001 to 1.001.002 (or something when it comes) is free or what is it? And ain't the software updates free to everyone?

And I'm low on cash and wanted to know if VisionLab Studio is a good choice (if you don't think about moneys) ??

Thanks in advance!

Some software updates require that you pay for the update, the 'free updates' refers to...

Well, getting free updates for VisionLab. It's a reminder than the programs are constantly improving and recieving new features and overhauls and that you won't have to pay for the privelege.... Until VisionLab 2 anyway. wink

You get free updates of VisionLab Studio until we release version 2.0.0 which is years away yet as VisionLab Studio is still very new.

So the next update (1.001.010) will be free as will all updates up to 1.999.999 (if we need to make that many minor versions which I really hope we don't).

Hope this helps.

If your short on cash you might want to settle for the lite or Pro versions, when I first got the software I got both pro version and that saves around $200 and lets you do most stuff VisionLabs lets you do, I only upgraded later becouse I was doing some paying work and was able to budget in the upgrade price for the job. Unless you need the Commercial License, vision labs is mostly just easer becouse it's all in one, if you can afford it that ease is so great but if you can't you should ask your self if you can settle for less?

I would add that you should not get CompositeLab Lite, get the Pro version if you can, once you learn how to use it well you'll want every effect that it has to offer at your finger tips.
