Hi! Welcome to FXhome!

When you say 'type text', do you mean to animate the text? As far as I know, you can't type it in. But you can import an image of text to with alpha channels.

If you want to add text for opening/closing titles, the best way to do that is probably with an NLE, which is a Non-Linear Editor, such as Windows Movie Maker, AVID, or Vegas. It's possible to use VisionLab/CompositeLab for credits, but it's much more tedious, and it would simpler with other programs.

If you're using FCP, I would think LiveType is the way to go with text animation. Have you tried that?

Yes ,I am using that.I just want to know about this program what and how much I can't take advantage of it.I have tools for everything I need.I have Boris Red/After Efects Pro/Motion and Mirage plus the whole Adobe Design suite. But right now I am focusing only on this program, just making the difference ,comparing the futures with what I have and with what it is new on the market like this program VisionLab Studio. In special that right now SHAKE it is only $499 from $2999,and it is a well known and used program.I just want to see if this VisionLab Studio it's justifies the almost $600 that I have to pay for it,or I will get Shake and keep working in the programs that I own.
Thank's....
