If you check around the product page, all your questions are answered really, including links to the demos. Effectslab, Compositelab and Visionlab are all standalone programs, so while they're not plugins or "fit into" any programs, they have a huge amount of compatibility with any postproduction software.

The effects themselves cannot be imported into any NLE program.

however, you choose the footage, import into your FXhome product, add the effects, render and then you can work with the footage in any NLE program.

ok that makes sense, I'm not an editor really I directed and produced Salvation an indie film and wanted to add a little to the scenes. Mostly glows off a crucifix and a ray of light coming from it, a glow on a persons clothes, dreamlike atmosphere and flashback effects on another couple - do you reccomend any package for this sort of fx?

thanks

Effectslab pro has some good grading filter plugins that give different visual looks. Check out the fx preset library

http://fxhome.com/presets/

A filter in Effectslab pro (as well as Composite lab) called Gleam has a lightray effect. Basically, look at what Effectslab can do and see if it's what you need.

I think that the far majority of people here in the FXhome forums will suggest you go ahead and buy the FXhome software. smile

Nice to see that the videos are proving useful.

You will certainly be able to accomplish all the things you listed with the combination of EffectsLab Pro and CompositeLab Pro, and they are well worth the price.
