That is strange that you found a real machete after asking me about one. Glad you liked the trailer. The location for the medieval shoot was a pretty sweet place. I'm kinda disapointed we didn't shoot some of it in front of that waterfall, but that's okay, because the place we did film (not far from the waterfall) really worked out very well. It was about a 30min drive to get there. Another location we shot at was closer to an hour with 15 minutes of windy dirt roads. Jefferson got carsick so we let him roll down the window and sit in it (holding on to the roof rack) while we drove... that helped.

Lots of people have downloaded this, but nobody but you seems to want to comment on it, or rate it... weird... oh well.

Not sure why nobody seems to want to comment on, or rate my Trailer, but I'd really like to hear what people have to say about it. Thanks.

Oh, don't worry, that is definitely in the full short-film. And it is pretty good. That's the one scene that has been finished and shown to people. So far everyone loves it!

Well I'm not sure if you own a lot of money or this is just a family film,
but whatever the hell it is it looks great!

Thanks for the compliment Mojo. It is very much just a family film. Everyone you see in it are either my siblings, or cousins.

Nice trailer, some kids these day and age, are lucky to have their child hood on a action film rather than just on a school photo! Lol. Good work.

Hey,

When do you expect this film to be finished? Also, I tried to watch the trailer again but for some reason it downloads as a txt file and when I click play its just a bunch of numbers and letters. Do you think you can put one up as a .mov file?

I've been meaning to put up new versions of the files. Hopefully I'll get to it in the next couple of days. I'll post some WMV ones instead of the XviD, and then maybe a Sorenson compressed .MOV.

The trailer says it will be done by Christmas, and I think I'll be mostly done by then, but probably not completely done. The problem is, I'm having a couple of 3D shots done by a friend here at school, and I'll be home for the next two weeks for Christmas break. So I'll try and have the film all done except the 3D stuff, then have him render those for me when I get back. I'd have him do it now, but he and I are both pretty busy with finals.

Thanks for asking.

Well it took way longer than expected, but the film is finally finished! Its just waiting approval by the FXhome team, and then it will be available in the cinema. Thanks for everyone who's watched this trailer (and gave it a good rating), given help and support, and even just people's excitement and interest in this films progress helped to keep me motivated to finish.
