It would be great if we could have some sort of feedback section so people could post topics about websites that they had good or bad experiences with so they could warn others or let people know if certain websites are ok to buy from. They have a Buyer/seller feedback section on the volkswagen website I goto and it helps massively when I'm trying to find out who's selling quality products and who's scamming people. It would really help with people shopping for camcorders, accessories, software, etc.

If you want to see the feedback section I'm talking about click here

you could start a topic in general chat where people could post there experiances then compile them to a list on the first post like many people have done such as this one? seems less complicated then a whole section on it, which could make it difficult to find a certain shop. that forum link u sent just looked to busy and would put me of using it.

It seems busy but it really works. I probably buy 5+ things a month for my vw and I find most of it through that site. Using that feedback section I just do a quick search and bam! instant results onthe seller/buyer. It helps massively. I get where you are coming from with one topic but with all the websites there it would be too much for one person to give accurate information. It would be better to have each person put individual experiences with a company. That way your reading something from someone that has bought from them and can tell you how it went. As long as you enforce people listing the name of the company in the subject it should make searching a breeze.

There are already entire websites devoted to this sort of thing.

www.resellerratings.com for example.
