Gift Purchases of FXHome products?

It appears that my in-laws are going to fall into my evil trap and agree to purchase either ELab Pro or an upgrade to the full VisionLab for my Christmas present. (I don't know which... they insist on "surprising" me with my wife's supposed collaboration. They're funny that way.) So my question is... can they do that? They do have *some* experience in online maneuvering and have done e-shopping before, but I'm sure that my wife will need to provide them with *exact* instructions for how to go about purchasing my "surprise" present.
So... can somebody else purchase a product from FXhome and assign it to an existing user account (mine) for download? And if so, exactly how would they go about doing this? This is probably a real pain in the rear question, and I apologize, but these people are big on "surprise" gifting and wouldn't want to just give me the cash to go buy it if that can be avoided. They'd probably also want to be able to print out some sort of receipt of confirmation of purchase to put in a x-mas card to show they had bought it for me.

well as long as you can have the program why bother letting it show up in your profile, i mean they could make a new user

Well yeah, but it would probably be better for him to have it on his profile. That way he doesn't have to keep track of multiple accounts and will still get great service (though it's already great to people who don't even own anything).

Our system isn't really setup to do gift purchases. But if they create a seperate account to buy the program we will be able to transfer it to your account manually. You'll have to email us the details after they "suprise" you, then we'll take care of it

I probably should have thought of this before, but it now occurs to me that I could simply have the wife provide my user id and password to the in-laws and let them log in on my account and do it themselves. Not like they'll be coming back or anything, and I can always change the password afterwards.

Yeah, that'd be the easiest option. Although you'll see the new product as soon as you log on again, wont that spoil the suprise?
