Hello,

I'm a newbie, but I've enjoyed using this program. I have added all my effects, such as lightswords, optics, masks, etc. The problem I have is after I render, my effects seem to move upwards as the movie progresses. Any pointers?

Thanks

The only way that could happen is if you'd accidentally keyframed them to move up - maybe you went to a frame late in the movie and moved them, without realising? That would cause them to be animated to move up gradually.

My advice would be to check the timeline for unwanted keyframes.

Thanks Tarn,

I had a couple of more questions...When adding another lightsword, would I have to add on another neon effect? So, that would be 2 different neon effects and 2 purple lines on the timeline total; corrrect? and do those purple lines represent the lengh of the effect?

I like your tutorials by the way...

Thanks a bunch!

You can have multiple shapes within the one Neon Light object. But these multiple shapes will share the same glow attributes.

So if you want 2 lightswords with both identical colour and glow attributes then you can use just 1 Neon Light object on the timeline, with 2 shapes inside it.

But if you want the 2 lightswords to be different, then yes, you'll need 2 different Neon Light objects on the timeline.

Yes, the width of the bar on the timeline represents its length over time.
