do u think you can change the font/background color because it is difficult to read gray text over a white background.

Cool site. for some reason (only on my mac OS X running IE5, PC WORKS fine), the alignment gets all screwed up. The bars on the left all the way at the bottom, and the arrow graphic repeats 150 times... wierd.

I have the same problem av11d!
ah ha! Told you Cypher (I'm not trying to be a dick, just help)! I remember learning some code for this during my Macromedia course. I'm gonna look for it and send you a script. Did you do the site in Coldfusion? Could be why. If you do the site on a PC it'll look totally different on a Mac and vice versa.
I quit my web development job 3 years ago so my knowledge base is more of a hobbyist but I'll see what I can dig up for you. I remember it has something to do with making the "Frameset" in Dreamweaver/Ultra Dev/Coldfusion (whatever you used) "Relative" rather than "fixed".
Malone can probably give you a heads up.

i dont use html editors, besides the tables (which were just cuts from photoshop) all of the html (template at least) is my coding manually. (editors suck in this regard because they are extremely limited)

hmmm.......you might want to have a look at Macromedia's site under the tech support articles for that patch (I can't find it) or check it out on a Mac. There is a huge difference in the quality and appearance between the two platforms. I'm sure you don't want people to blunt your site because of a silly web-browser problem. Just a thought.

What about at school? Don't you guys have Macs there? I can probably get you one on loan for a weekend if you want (I'll take it from work and say it needs some "repairs"- nothing they aren't used to).

Jesus. You can make a petition to your trustee. I think you guys got a tech mandate last year. Check it out with some of your teachers if they're cool enough like this kid! I'd cut heads for my students.
I'm picking up the "thing" you need on Friday. I'll punt you it over the weekend.

i went to a film festival (motion film festival) which is a york region school board one, and i talked to a few people there, and they said tehre IS something i can do about it.
I will talk to the comm tech head guy, though I hate him. He's only nice to you if you are his student, if not, than he don't care.

Okay. PM me with the person who is in charge of recquisitioning hardware for your school or board and I'll mail them on behalf of the TDSB and Apple. No promisses, but this is how "we" got our stuff originally (someone in Peel did the same for us).

I'm going to have the fastest rise to 400 in ALAMDV history (March - June).
Actually, I have 3 periods off on Friday's now and I need to kill some time before I teach my last period so I just pass it here. If you watch, I hardly post at all Sunday-Wednesday unless I'm having trouble or trying to help someone out. Plus, I'm working on an edit right now so I need a break sometimes from staring at Final Cut.
