Just wondering, considering the various people entering Hauntfest, etc. Has anyone else submitted entries to the cinema and not gotten them posted in the last week? I sent an e-mail to the team at fxhome but hadn't heard back. Might be some sort of server problem? Anyway, sent one in a week ago but nothing has been posted since then. Technical problems? Sent mine in a week ago, which is a bit longer than any previous entries. Obviously cool if it's just some processing thing or server issues, but...?

Hey Jazz, my Bulletproof BMW clip took several days. I remember reading in small print somewhere that it can take about 7 days. Just depends on how busy it is most times.

Why are people so impatient all the time...? smile

The films have to be checked and put online manually. The fxhome team had a stressful Expo week and the main cinema guy grandmaster Tarn had a couple of days off.

It'll happen. Patience. smile

Indeed, I had Friday and Monday off due to it being my birthday weekend, and Thursday we were all at the Expo. So anything that was submitted after admin duties were complete on Wednesday will have been slightly delayed.

Everything should be up-to-date either today or tomorrow though!

Asking a relatively benign question that starts with the phrase "just wondering" equals "so impatient all the time" in your mind? crazy

I wasn't specifically referring to you Jazz, sorry if it came across like that. We encounter people going "Wehre's my film? I submitted it like 5 minutes ago" in the chat often, so I might have "overreacted" a bit into the wrong direction - allthough my answer was meant as a snappish remark, not really as an attack or anything. smile

It's all good, master Tarn is back and things will be taken care of swiftly. biggrin

Not an issue. I actually read the news section of the site every time there's an update, so I knew about the expo, the moving into the new offices, etc. and just completely forgot about them. The perils of old age I suppose.

And my answer was probably a tad bit snappish as well, I hope only because it's early and I haven't finished my coffee yet. For that I apologize.

I thought I had covered myself two weeks ago, when I relayed an early happy birthday incase I didn't see you. But I see that didn't mean as much to some, as it did to others. I am not saying I am hurt, but if you get the cold shoulder from me in chat...this might be the reason.

In all sincerity, happy birthday. As I am sure everyone would agree, you get better with every passing year, and I am sure you will continue to do so. I hope you had a nice celebration, and partied like it was 1980; which for you would have been alcohol free, wrapped in a blanket, and being held by your parents.

They grow up so fast.
