Lightsaber arm cut [ANSWER]

Hi:

I'm sorry to ask the same thing, but I still don't get my answer.
I'm making a Star Wars type movie where a lightsaber cuts someones arm, I saw a link in the website not long ago where a guy cuts his arm and gets a burning mark where he has the cut, the video is on YouTube.com and it is called chopping of my arm.
I want the same effects.

well i did all the effects like lightsaber...etc in FXlab and the arm in after effects.

but it is possible to cut the arm or what ever in CompositeLab and vlab studio

here is a good tutorial on how to do it an Clab or Vlab

After Effects is made by Adobe, and can be purchased from almost any software vendor. It will run you $700 or more.

yea, F that, i was thinking about getting after effects but i realized that effects lab has effects which are just as good. so im sticking with it biggrin
