I would like to know how to put an image or video on a greenscreen because I'm new to learning about this program.

Put your GreenScreen media on the timeline and the media that you want in the background on the timeline as well. Then right click on the title of the media you want in the background and click "Send To Back" (Or Send To Front, I forget which one). Then it should show up. Any more questions?

There is a quickstart tutorial that has been painstakingly constructed to take you through this process step-by-step, and is included with the download of the program. Access it from the help menu within compositeLab, and try it out.

Also, take a look at the video tutorials on compositing that have been provided on this site. They explain all the basics, complete with visuals.
