Hey, is anyone familiar with the saber wound effect when someone was injured by a lightsaber (in the prequels of course).

I think this could be done with the neon light engine, you could do this by freehand drawing and giving it an orange colour. wink

If you could make a texture the size of you're footage that has a cloudy look to it, then you could just mask it. I've seen a tut for AE and they used fractal noise (basically just the cloud thing i mentioned). Hope that helps.
