NecroMedia Proudly presents!... nah! just kidding biggrin

This is what my friends did one afternoon, with some cool stuff in it.
And i'm the first using Mechaforce's plug-ins! (you're explosions)
I was going to make own, but why do when mecha made so many excellent plug-ins?
and ehh... yes.
The end is a bit wierd, but i had to crunch in that sloughter thing, cuz we did that
3 days before the other, so the story thing didn't fit for a trailer.

Happy Viewing!

(includes a pretty gory axe scene - you have been warned - Malone)

Kid, your, crew really has talent, I gave you 4 starts again. I would give 5 but to me I'm realy strict on giving fives. Your work just keeps getting better and better and better.

Go check your other post about your site, and also another reqest. How did you go about the axe in the back? Please do explain. I have a few techniques but they are a big hassle, is your way?

Again great work!

Well, what to say here.... Again you show great skills in camera and editing and use of fitting music (liked the mortal Kombat soundtrack) :)))

You even surprised me with the explosions. When I saw the plugins I wasn't really sure if they look good (the colors aren't good), but you used them very well!

Congrats again! You get better and better... :)

that was VERY well done. I would have given a 5, but like someone else, i am also very keen on 5's. a 5 to me means PERFECT, but there were a few things to me that i didn't really like in the trailer.

1. it was an amazing trailer until he got cut, that was pointless.
2. ties into 1, that whole thing about the hero still alive is funny, but i think you would have had a stronger impact without that.

great work, smooth use of effects!

You just need some color correction, that's all biggrin eek

By mecha:
1000 clones???? That's sounds so retarded!!!!
Well... the story is lame... we made it as we recorded the movie twisted

Cypher:
1. it was an amazing trailer until he got cut, that was pointless.

What do you mean?... when he got cut? (swedish guy here)
And the last part when he dance's were just for fun... but yeah. It didn't make the movie serius, but that was also a good part, in another way.
Cuz you were suprised that it would pop up a stupid dance song from the erly 90's. (Malone said that he laught his ass off smile )

And lastly... Amblix.
I'm used to that Mechaforce always complain about stuff i don't understand lol

he..he.....yeah 5 is flawless. Hard to dish that one out. I've done it before but thought it was little to heavy. I thought it was really well done. However, I agree with Cypher on the "plot" issue. Leave the "dancing torso" out next time. You had me hooked with the serious epic violence until that part. The gore looked real enough. Must have been a bitch to bury that dude up to the gut in the sand! wink smile Nice work.

You can use "Pork Sausage Links" with "Stage Blood" to get a really good looking trail of intestines. I scooped that idea off a still I saw from "Dog Soldiers". From a distance of about 3 feet it looks disgustingly real. Just don't get crazy and focus in on it for a long period of time. lol

ou can see a lighter box around them, but I'm curious about what method you used.

And did you do any color correction on our explosions? It didn't look like it.

I know... messed thoose clone up. I forgott to sync it to the actual film.
And realy... i have color correction all over the movie!!! if you watch carefully you see that it has a special "desert feel" to it. It's more yellowish. The original photo didn't look like it was in a desert.
And the explotion is also more redish and yellowish... less blueish, you get me? lol

And we made our own blood! and cooked some grose stuff toghther biggrin
And it was me hu digged like hell! cool took 50min or something eek
and then the sand had to get back there. tard

And thx for all the comments! some of the things you say i alredy know, but many thing i didn't think of ether!

I loved this film, it was really well edited with some nice cinema effects (you can just imagine it up on the big screen). I think I still prefer the super slappy film tho, that one was more easy to follow. This one broke down a bit in the middle with lots of people just falling down a hill and a bit tricky to work out who was who.

Personally I love the dancing bit at the end. It does look like you tagged it on tho, you should have got him properly dancing and jiggerling about. I suppose it hit my humor level, it seems a bit tricky to make something that everyone finds funny

Wait...you added color correction to the whole movie? I thought you said you just added it to the explosions...which I was wondering about, since they were alamdv2 plug-ins...

And can you please explain HOW you created the clone armies?

Well... I used color correction to both explosions and film lol
But you can't see that the explosion has color correction cuz the movie has it and etc. crazy
The clones are real people dressed the same, nah it's basicly the same thing that Sollthar did, And what i did on my older ones.
We recorded like 6 differance locations and then masked it togheter.

So what do you guys think about the location? isent it cool?... When you are there you feel very small biggrin .
Man we had fun that day razz *looking back at the old days*

This is still really hard to do properly (and you did a wicked job). Have you ever tried using Cinelook in After Effects. I'm asking because I haven't had much luck with it and I'd be happy to hear anyones suggestions (and settings) that they found/find useful.

Hehehehe! There is no such thing as too much gory action! I loved this trailer, and I thought the clip at the end was damned funny. I really enjoyed the photography at the beginning. It built up the tension very well. There is just one thing that caught my eye towards the middle. There is a segment where the dude in the green shirt punches someone, and I'm not sure if it's something that was a one-shot dealy or something, (and it seemed to only happen in that one instance) but you may want to keep check of the camera angle, as there seemed to be a little bit of "daylight" (as my friends and I call it) between the fist and the guys face. I think you folks do action very well, and I'm not trying to nitpick, but I just figured if someone noticed something, you'd want some feedback. Keep up the great work! Wow, that was long. I hope no one gets the impression that I actually know what I'm doing. wink

You mean that this trailer stink? giving it a 2?... ahh never mind! lol
BUT I WANT TO KNOW WHY!... on some movies there's always new people voting bad at the top ten movies... strange... just strange.
Same thing happend to Metal gear redux by mecha and side'ie.

And you must also have seened it more then once, to see all the small things. twisted crazy cool lol

How can you people honestly give this a five star rating? I mean come on it had no cinematic merit in anyway. Puer Muscle my ass those kids weigh like 95 pounds. Along with a lame story line and Bad use of AlamDv effects. This is ridiculous! It had a bit of nice camera work bu other than that the editing sound effects props actors costumes all were sub par. Thats just my opinion.

This is my opinon and I am enititled to it. I am frustrated because the the top ten movies are all in myopinon w/ the exception of the test...lesser deserving of a top ten spot than my own...I know I may ome off as concieted but...My movie took many more hours than most of these backyard based movies. Dont stop making movies...this is how we learn.

Ok ok... this movie took 5 days to edit, we had to much material.
And most of my "backyard movies" like slapfight, took me a week to make. But mayby this movie aint worth a 5, i donno. Vote a 1 if you want to... i realy don't care.

And i don't wanna start a war with you, but in the medic, whats the story there? and don't say i use the alamdv effects bad! Have you seened the medic?
But you're movie has the coolest custumes on alamdv!

Anyways... i'm going to start edit my new chinese action movie. This time it has a story! a bad chinese story lol

I feel i should add my comment.

( a macrbe subject always got me told off when making films in my youth ) but i guess we all start on subject.

i was impressed with the editing, with a little work on filming with editing in mind, you guys could be great.

try and put a story in, ( even if it's short ) for future work to show people, the best way to break into film work is adverts on tv, and if you can make a 1 min film with story, then you will have something to show you story talents. ( too many people use the effects for tests, so try and throw a story in )
sorry for going on, but it might help you in the future.
( costumes ) would have helped.
but good anyway. you should go far.
