Hello There

I was wondering if anyone could make a animated logo for the beginning of my movies for no charge... I am not sure if anyone could do this but if you could let me know!

Thanks

Go to town have some fun. You're doing it for free, and one thing that's not cool is to pester someone about specifics when they're being openly generous wink

Never ceases to amaze me how helpful people around here are. And this thread reminds me that I too had a nice new animated production company clip created for my by our very own Davilin! I haven't published any real movies since it was done, but if you want to see it I did stick it on the beginning of a test movie I did for somebody asking for help with one of the CLab Pro preset packs this week. There's no sound on this one, but you can see it here. (You can pretty much ignore the rest of the short film unless you're interested in seeing how the Scanner Darkly preset works.)

My thanks again to Davlin for all the work he put into that.

Alright, well. I like the outcome... lol... first time I used the 3d space in after effects but i like it. The text quality isn't the best cause I have no clue what to export it as. But, here it is:

Hey Zero, I got the PM. Nice looking logo. A couple "requests" if you don't mind.

I love the look, but could it be (how do I explain this?) a little more 'grand' and 'majestic', a bit less 'mysterious' if you understand.

Also, the text shows up at sort of an angle, could it show up straight, and smaller, more in the center?

Thanks a ton,
NickD

Since people are always wanting logos made, I propose that we create an "official" thread and sticky it.

It can be used to post requests, and whoever wants to work on someone else's request can.

If people and the mods are open to it, I'll create the thread and then we can have it stickied.

Sound cool?

Yea, I agree. Quite a few people want these done.

BTW, I have so much homework tonight I don't know if I will be able to finish the new version tonight. But definitely this weekend, have 5 days off biggrin

It always amazes me how friendsly people are on fxhome! Great going, Zero and Multiwagon! Come on guys, give em some +1s!

Zero, I just watched the first one you made (second one is downloading) and i must say its really creative and technically very well done. Great going.

Can't wait to see the second.

SGB

EDIT: just watched the second. While you seemed to have pulled off what you were going for very well, it didn't impress me as much as the first. Although, i must say it does look quite excellent. Good job!
