I have seen some screen captions of the FXhome software and it looks great. I would love to try the demo, here is the issue. I can not download the demo because I no longer have my own computer and can not check the demo at work. Will someone SHow me a video or animated give that I do not have to download, so that I can see the program in use.

You should also be able to see demo clips off the product pages.

As Hendo and Garrison say, there's lots of video clips all over the site.

Also, sorry to ask the obvious question, but if you don't have a computer, how are you planning to use the products? smile

That is a good question, sorry I should have made myself more clear. I will be buying a computer at the end of the month and I am looking at two. One is about three hundred dollars or so less then the other. I was wondering if people could show me the programs in action so I can decide if I want a program or the more pricey computer.

Yeah maybe I am still not being fully clear and I appologize. Although I miss-spelled .GIFF, I said I would like an animated .GIFF or something like pictures to see. I can't veiw flash or download right now but I can veiw pictures. Why is every one trying not to get this... I feel like I am under attack for wanting to see pictures. Are there any nice memebers to talk to? Perhaps I could speak with an FXhome team member? Someone that is willing to help with some pictures.

Now see, if this was the original post, I could see what you want, however, the mispelling was key to understanding what you wanted (give/.GIFF), so don't take it personal, it's just that the post (to me) made no sense.

As far as .giffs I don't know if anyone has converted a .mov or .avi to a .giff (since .mov and .avi are the only "exported" files by FXHome) so you may want to take a look at the printed tutorials (the stickys) in Composite Lab Help and Effects Lab Help.

Other than that, it may be worth your time to find a computer that can view the videos.

Hope this helps.

GIFs can only use 256 colors so are not suitable for movie footage.

You can have a look at some of the still image shots in our press section. They should give you a good idea of the quality of our effects.

As Garrison says, FXhomer15428, this is simply a case of not fully understanding what you were intending to ask, which is completely understandable, and to be expected from time to time, especially when trying to interpret what another is trying to say over the internet, as I am sure you are aware.

For this reason, it is always best to take it upon yourself to make your posts as clear as possible. The more effort put towards making your point clear, the less likely others are to misinterpret you.

With that said, there is always the possibility of there being a misunderstanding, in which case, asking questions in order to understand is completely reasonable. I don't believe it was the aim of Garrison, or the others, to do anything but try to assist you with your inquiry, and it is unfortunate you feel as if you were under attack.

In regards to your original post, are you asking for screen captions of the software, to give you a better idea of the interface/workflow, or are you inquiring as to the quality of the effects that the programs will be able to generate?

Considering what the programs have to offer, this could be a considerable amount of pictures if one were to try to show you an extensive preview of the programs. If there is something specific that you would like a closer look at, or to be explained, we would be happy to help in any way we can.

However, for an entire overview, it would be best for you to find a means to view the video tutorials provided here at FXhome. These are directly geared towards providing an entire overview of the programs, and to demonstrate their functionality, and would definitely be the most appropriate for what you are looking for.

If you are in search of examples of what the programs offer in terms of quality of effects, then the link malone posted has a rather nice selection of examples for you to peruse. You may also want to take a look through the preset library, to gain a perspective of the various types of effects the programs are capable of achieving.

Take care.
Wizard.
