I've recently purchased FXHOME and it is my first time using this software. I've noticed when opening the program, a window will appear and says there is a newer version of V/Lab studio ready to download. I've clicked on download at least 3 times, the third taking over an hour to complete.

Am I storing the downloads in a wrong file or is it that you update the program on regular basis ?

Hey there rushour123,

First off, welcome to Fxhome.
The programs here are updated on a regular basis, averaging an update every 2 months or so, often more frequently. Most updates introduce neat new features such as filters or enhance the rendering speeds.

If there's a problem with clicking and downloading via the software then simply download the full version from this site. Download links are easily accessible from User Preferences > My programs & keys.

I hope that helps.

When you hit the download button, it simply uses your default browser to download the installer. Once it has finished downloading, run the installer from the location your downloaded it to and the program will be updated.

If you download the installer but don't run it, it'll keep telling you that there's a new version. smile
