Another question about posting in the cinema.

I just did a little video that was presented in a class. I only used Vlab for one single gunshot. I also didn't put the FXhome logo on the end because I have Vlab and was thinking I didn't need to. Then, after it was all done, I thought I should post it in the cinema. Then I remembered that there was supposed to be the FXhome logo to do this.

So 2 questions: 1. Should I still post it eventhough only that one little gunshot was done with Vlab? 2. Do I still need the FXhome logo on the end if I'm a Vlab user?

Just my little sidenote on that second question: if people have a good reason not to include the FXhome logo in the video, and are owners of Vlab, it seems prudent to me to allow them to post the video without it. The logic is something like this: if it comes from the cinema, everyone downloading it from there knows it's FXhome. But if someone also wants to have it on their own website, and as stated, doesn't want the FXhome logo in there for artistic or other reasons, they shouldn't have to have two versions of the file on their server, one for the cinema, and one for their own website.

I'm totally okay with an answer either way, just raising some ideas for consideration, in case they haven't been considered already. Thanks.

VisionLab includes a commercial license, which means you do not need to credit FXhome in your videos that were made with VLab. You can, of course, choose to do so if you want. smile

So, no, you do not need to add the FXhome logo/credit movie in order to submit it to the FXhome Cinema.

As to whether you should post it... that's up to you. smile But don't feel that just because it only has one gunshot muzzle flash in it, that it's not acceptable or worthy of being in the Cinema.

If you want others to watch, comment, and give feedback on your video then go for it. smile
