Christmas DISCOUNTS still available...just!

Santa is busy checking hoof pressure, de-icing the sleigh and loading the digital trunk with hundreds of FXhome products, poised to be beamed direct from Claus HQ straight to your Christmas tree (presuming you’ve positioned your computer just underneath the tree, of course).

The FXhome Christmas discounts have already proved hugely popular, with VisionLab Studio selling particularly well, and we’re expecting the discount stock to run out shortly after the New Year – however this could change once Christmas week actually arrives, as there will be lots of people using their new and special Christmas Money to join the FXhome club.

So there’s no time to waste – if you want the 25% Christmas discounts on VisionLab Studio and the Pro Bundle, head over to the FXhome.com store at the speed of a flying reindeer!

Visit the FXhome.com store!

FXhome software scoring HIGHLY in reviews...

Some early reviews of EffectsLab Pro and VisionLab Studio are already in, with glowing reports all round. Here are a few choice samples:

EffectsLab Pro: "A simplified effects program that anyone can get to grips with." 4/5 from MacFormat

EffectsLab Pro: "Awesome value if you want to do particle and optical effects in your films." 9.4/10 from Microfilmmaker Magazine

VisionLab Studio: "A seriously powerful, seriously deadly piece of software...that is actually beginning to infringe on the territory of the industry heavyweights." 9/10 from Microfilmmaker Magazine

The entire FXhome range: "I'm giving the whole group 4½ Cows because I know that they are continually improving the package. Add an extra ½ Cow if customer service means anything to you!" 4½/5 from CreativeCow.net

New FREE video tutorials...

The FXhome.com online video tutorials section is continuing to expand, with the most recent tutorials focusing on how to integrate Windows Movie Maker and Apple’s iMovie with your FXhome products. The WMM tutorial is highly recommended as it details how to export high quality video – crucial for any kind of editing, whether you are adding effects or not.

These tutorials join the extensive selection of interface, visual effects and grading tutorials that were already available. Head over to the FXhome.com support section to check them out.

Watch the video tutorials!

Amazon.co.uk selling OUT...

It’s a good time for European FXhome customers, as there’s also the choice of getting the brand new boxed versions direct from Amazon.co.uk! The first batch sold so well they’ve already had to order a second and a third load to keep up with demand, so there’s no doubt lots of people will be opening FXhome boxes this Christmas!

They’re still selling fast, so if you want to guarantee your FXhome box will arrive before Christmas there’s no time to waste!

Check out FXhome at Amazon.co.uk!

Schwar CRASHES the helicopter!

Meanwhile, back at the FXhome-cave, office japery has reached giddy new heights with Schwar’s inimitable display of his complete lack of piloting skills. The new FXhome helicopter arrived early morning and we decided a quick break from the usual duties was called for.

After a couple of tentative test flights, one of which nearly decapitated Cogz, Schwar decided he was familiar enough with the controls to take it for a real spin. Up and up it went, high into the grey, British sky until, all of sudden, the wind caught it. Pivoting about, it rocketed off across the car park like something from Apocalypse Now, tilted worryingly, dropped out of the sky and smashed into a bjillion pieces.

We won't be letting Schwar fly the next one!

That's awesome that you've already had reviews from CreativeCow and MacFormat!

Can you post links to the reviews so we can take a look? I've recomended FXhome software to people at the CreativeCow Vegas forum and would like to be able to point them to CreativeCow's own reviews of FXhome software.

The CreativeCow review should go up any day now - we were given a preview of it.

I don't know if MacFormat keep their reviews online but it was in last months issue. We are trying to get a PDF copy to link on the website.

Wow. To say that Mr. Harvey was impressed with the product line would be an understatement. He was clearly blown away. Excellent review.

I feel the need to make an extremely sarcastic and witty reply to the previous post.

But since I can't think of one I will just say that I am in fact blown away with the FXhome product line. razz

That's a great review, are they going to post it on the Creative Cow main page? Or will it possibly go in the Magazine?

Christmas has past a full month ago... thank GOD you guys celebrate for a whole month! I've been playing with the demo for a while and have been shopping for a good keyer for my upcoming Zombie movie. I've tried Adobe's stuff, very pricey for the general at-homer. What really threw me, was the outragously over-priced plug-ins for Adobe, for example "Primatte 3.0!"

I have this poor green screen footage I was testing out in After Effects, and no matter what plug-in I tried, I couldn't get a good, clean key! I finally found "Zmatte" which was the only decent key I could pull, with much confusion and various adjustments.

Then I realized your Studio does keying, I popped my footage in and voila! I only had to make a few minor adjustments and got a perfect key with my poorly lit, poorly recorded footage. Not to mention this is the whole program, not just a plug-in. I saw this X-mas add and decided it was time I put my money to work.

Thanks guys, this is by far the best "Bang for my Buck," I've purchased for my video editting!
