I plan to buy either effectslab lite or pro, but with my tight budget, I'm leaning towards effectslab lite. Could somone give me a rundown of things effectslab pro has or does that effects lab lite doesn't?

On the product pages if you scroll down there's a list of features in the program, the pro-only features will have 'pro' next to the name.

Yes, er, what Hybrid-Halo said. It just depends on your needs, really. If you need a special effects program that supports HD (High-Definition), then Pro would be the way to go... (oh goody! That rhymes!)

Or if you just need something to make a couple of quick muzzle flashes and/or lightsabers, Lite could be your answer.

Again, like Hybrid said; check the products page. Look for the little logo that says 'pro' beside the feature(s).
