I rendered my project just today. The only problem is that there is 1 missing layer (it was layer 20, I think, would that make a difference?)

I rendered using the DV, which takes like 1 MB per second of video, which isn't as much as Uncompressed. So if I render my video using Uncompressed, would it work better?

Thanks

Whether you use a codec or not won't affect whether the layer is included in the output.

Your choice of codec or uncompressed will determine the quality of the output video, especially if you're recompressing DV to DV over and over, for example.

As for your missing layer, are you sure that:

1. The object is enabled on the timeline (there should be a green dot, not a red dot on the object's main track);

2. It doesn't have any filters causing it to be transparent;

3. The layer's In and Out points match up with the timeline.

Well yes, but is doesn't matter anyways. I've figured out why it doesn't work (beside the image's main track, it said that the image's offline). Thanks anyways!!! smile

If you right click the layer you can relink it to the source file's new location.
