I recently finished my first video on FXHome. I saved it and uploaded it on youtube. Unfortunately, it didn't work and said "invalid file format". How do you save FXHome videos to a format that Youtube supports?

When you say 'FXhome', which product are you actually referring to?

You'll have to render your file out to a video format first. Just click the render in the tool bar then render, you can changer your format through the render setting. Good Luck with your video!
