Hey, does anyone know of a site or sites that have lots of good Star Wars sound effects? I'm looking for actual sound effects (lightsabers, blasters, droids, etc.) and not characters saying lines. Thanks for any help!

There's lots of other star wars related tutorials there too, some are very useful. Someone needs to post a tutorial for AlamDV lightsabers on their site. If you have time download the after effects light saber tutorial, I can only imagine how long it would take to add light sabers using that method.

biggrin Just a note to try and keep you from getting your a#@ ripped off. Please, befor posting questions, browse the boards first. You may just find the answer to your question with out creating duplicate posts (These posts seem to greatly upset some users evil ).

I understand that it can often be hard to find answers to questions that have already been asked, but try your best and everyone will remain happy! biggrin

you can get some good sounds from games, such as jedi knight 2 for instance, somewhere on the installation will be all the sounds files etc, that u can just use on one of your films...

That link I posted goes in depth to getting sound effects from computer games, plus it has all the basic star wars sound effects to download.

Thanks TMM, but i already have this sounds.

I´m searching for clash sounds longer than one second.
Like in the film here in the cinema section called "Best Lightsaber Duel ever"
http://www.csb-digital.com/alamdv/cinema/movieinfo.php?id=11

At the end of this film, they hold on clashing their sabers.
I need this sounds.

Thanks.

TMM, when I went to the link, it gave me a Yahoo this page not available message. Do you know any other places I could find those sounds?

Hey All

I have 7 days of school left. + 1 more the next day for an exam and BOOYA! DONE!!!!

As for the sound FX, when your doing it, its a good idea to take just the hum of the lightsaber and loop it over EVERYTHING, even the swings. You get a good sound thing going i guess. hard to word.

@Loyd:
You have to copy+paste the link in your browser.
Yahoo+Geocities doesn´t allow direct linking.

PS: I´m still searching for clash-sounds.
