If I start out by buying CompositeLab or EffectsLab, if I want to go on and get VisionLab Studio - do I have to pay full price or is there some kind of upgrade price?

You get a discount if you own either program, and if you own both you get more of a discount too. I own EffectsLab Pro, and going to the Fxhome store tells me I can get a £60/$115 discount on VisionLab if I upgrade.

If you own both like me, you get a $230 discount, which is basically the same price i payed for those products. It is a great deal if you are looking to upgrade in the future. If you don't have any of those programs, it would cost less just to go and buy Vlab straight off instead of buying the other programs then upgrading. Before you do anything, i would suggest trying the demos first to see if you like the products and it really is something you wish to buy. IMO, they are worth the money.
