look ill make you a deal add OpenEXR to VisionLab Studio and ill buy . There are a few thing i want in a comp tool and ill take this out of the list i have . i know this was disscussed before, now if this implented into the software i'll buy i really really dont want to save up more money for combustion or upgade my old 4.1 AF. i like what i see in this software and while im a windows user i like buying software that also sopports apple soooo again ill buy i been looking at this software sine last year when i ran across a link from http://www.lwidof.net and even his plugging would let me say yeah ill buy. but if not then i guess thnx anyhow

I haven't worked with Open EXR but its features sound cool, I'd be interested to know what the benefits would be in compositing. Does it only benefit 3d compositing?

http://www.db-w.com/content/view/81/104/ this the plugin i us. they have download pdf on how to do one frame in photoshop trying doing this with more then one frame. the pdf aslo talks about how and why to use exr

I had a look at that PDF and still have no clue as to the benefits of this Open EXR thing. Maybe if you can explain how it benefits you in your compositing, it will build more support for this feature in the application. Plus I'm just curious what the heck it is all about.
