I thought I would suggest a feature for lightsabers where the program automatically places an optic effect at the hilt end of a neon light object to create that larger glow at the bottom of lightsabers that you see in SW movies. I have no clue how hard or easy this would be to program but I think it'd be a cool feature.

What I've found works well to achieve this effect is a simple 'circle-gradient' optic keyframed to the hilt end, and set to 'add'.

The hilt-end glow is traditionally done using one of the Optic effects. It is not necessary for the neon engine to be altered.
