Well, I've done a preset, and I want to submit it to FXhome by this place : http://fxhome.com/presets/preset_management/submit.php . But... What do I put in the field where I'm supposed to browse for my preset? Do I give them the .vlab file, of something else? If it is the .vlab file that I submit, how do I include the descriptions of my preset into it?

Thanks.

after making a preset, you right click the object on the timeline and then select "Create Preset". that will take you to a window asking for all this informatoin (name of preset, name of creator, description, etc) fill that up and save the preset. then you select that saved preset and submit it to fxhome.

After filling in all the preset data, as Darth Stazz mentioned, make sure to click "Save and Export". This will export a copy of your .FXpreset_pack file to a location of your choice. Select this file to upload to the site.

Sure thing. If you have any other questions, everything we have mentioned is written in the manual you downloaded with the program.

While we're talking about presets...

You know how presets have ratings (gold, silver or bronze)? Well I've noticed that some presets have been rated "Fxhome", like this one, for example: http://fxhome.com/presets/info_cache/preset13.html. Why?

Thanks.

(There wasn't anything about this in the manual, by the way smile)

Is it possible that a submitted preset isn't put into the library? Beause the one I've submitted isn't there, and isn't at the place saying "You have 1 preset pending". So I guess it's been refused!

At first I thought the answer to my question was very obviously yes, but then I saw a preset that... wasn't that good (to say the least), so now I'm not sure...

Yes. A significant number of presets that are submitted never make it into the preset library. In the event that your preset is rejected, you should get an email explaining why it was not accepted.

Thank you!

It's actually kind of funny because in the e-mail fxhome sent me, they suggested me do add blur, which I had done, but then undid right before submitting the preset.
