Hi Everyone,

Another request that's proving difficult to master.

After putting a Smoke Wave from Effects Presets on the timeline,I'm trying to move it to another area on the canvas.By clicking Emitter Attributes, if I place the effect near the bottom of screen, I'm left with a gap that the effect won't all move to, whilst the rest of the Smoke is getting smaller.
Any ideas?
Thank You

OK, check the keyframes, the smoke may start producing earlier on in the timeline, also there are 3 settings which I cant remember their exact names at the moment, i think they are particle rate, count and life, play with these as if the life is too big compared to the rate and the count is too small then at a point the particles will stop being created until some of the other particles have decayed (controlled by rate).

Well, im sure someone else type that better, but there you go. Feel free to ask more to clarify.

Thanks Xanetia, worked a treat.

Should have experimented more, but I was getting frustrated so turned to Forum.

Cheers

Also I recommend taking a look at Axeman's tutorial for creating fire under the Text Tutorials; it describes the particle engine very well.
