Hmm, this was all right. I didn't know it was going to be a trailer, since you told us the whole story in your original post... so I suppose now I'm less inclined to see it. I thought it was good, and it showed that you've put time into it. There were two things that got to me however. The first was that the voice was a little hard to understand on the phone in the beginning, and secondly, it's painfully obvious that you're just kids in the backyard. Perhaps the movie does take place in a rural community, but it somehow takes away from the overall feel of it. I realize there's no where really else to turn, but try searching around, you never know, there may be an Abandoned Warehouse just around the corner! 3/5: About middle, nothing spectacular, but not horrible by any means.

I guarantee this is a rough cut, you will definitely enjoy the finished movie... Plus, yes we're both 16 years old, and we've got no budget. So yes we're limited. But i can assure you, we make the most of what we have in our posession.

Looking forward to seeing the finished movie. Liked the mirror getting shot, good thinking there! The choice of music was, in my opinion, a good fit. No belt of the hitman though? Not a big thing, but it just seemed like the "character" should have had one. Leather jacket... black gloves... Anyway, good job, will check out finished.

Very well accomplished. Camera angles are not awkward, transition between scenes are well done, and the muzzle flashes were pretty good.

The only thing that seemed unreal was the machine gun flash when the guy falls on the floor...

Generally, it is well done... can't wait for the finished movie!

Hey... the trailer is pending cause we changed the title of it from "Nostalgia" to "Nostalgia Trailer" to avoid confusion when we release the final film. We just finished editing today and it's rendering as we speak. Hopefully the final film will be up by tonight, but definitely by tomorrow.

Enjoy

We've gone through a couple of rough cuts, and now we've sorted all the kinks out, and the final render is rendering as i'm typing this right now. So hopefully it'll be up by 2nite. But after the rendering, it is going to be big file, so i will have to compress it also. And i have no clue how long that will take. So we just gotta cross our fingers and hope it'll go fast.

A $4000 camera does not signify a small budget.

Actually, it signifies a budget in general, be it large or small. See, they've more than likely budgeted an investment in a nice camera- which can at times be the best choice to make, especially with a DVX- however, they've left no money for anything else.

So, budget? Yes. Low? Probably. They've spent everything on the camera itself, thus there's no room for any other luxury or camera accessory. Hence, "low" budget, or in this case, a "weighted" budget.

Just a little update.. the film is ready and compressed and we are sending the video to our host. The vid should be up within the next couple of days. But due to the compression, the quality is a little low... and u may experience a little audio delay towards the end due to the download... sorry for any inconvenience
