ive been looking for some of these as well, but guessed that they probibly wont be put online for use

so i designed my own on terrigan 2
then graded it and add fog/smoke and you have a beliveable looking '300' style backdrop

mine still needs a lot of work if im gonna use it on a video but you just have to make the best of it,

the actual backgrounds in 300 were made with maya/shake and some other programes that are availibal to just about anyone.

Most of that can be generated. Do you need it to look as animated and organic as that wast in the film? If you have the $$$, and I mean real world money, and you have experience with 3D Animation software like something as simple as Bryce 6.1 for $109.00 from their website located here http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/bryce/-/?, or a little more freedom and creativity, and prices ranging from but just as useful piece of equipment, Vue 6 Easel download for $89.00, or get the best Vue 6 Extreme for $895.00 located here http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/vue/vue_6_xstream/. I currently have access to both programs. These are choices for any serious film maker who really wants to kick their ideas up a few bars than the rest. I know there is the potential that you have already blown $500.00 on the Vision Labs Pro suite (although it shows you've made no purchases as of yet, unless you simply haven't registered) so money may be a little tight for some, but remember, it's your vision, your dream, and you really get what you pay for unless someone comes along that is willing to do all the hard work for nothing...when you find that person, let ME know....LOL. As for your request, I can do some of it, I can make the matte material, but you'll have to add the effects later for the smoke, mist, fog, whatever. Also, if you want camera movements, you'll have to let me know how, or drop me some of your footage raw so I know how long you need the segment to be, and I'll know how to track to the camera, otherwise, let me make your scene, and you can figure out how to green screen your people into it later on. Describe the scene, and I'll see what I can do.

Vue 6 ESprit could do the job just fine, black ronin, and is about 700$ less.

Well if it's 700 bucks less it's of course it's gonna miss out on some profesional features.

Noy really, I had ESprit for awhile, then upgraded to xStream, and not a whole lot changed... But yes there are a few features in xStream I would rather have than not.

True, it is about $700 less, but in the end, you get what you pay for. I don't care what you're buying, if you spend less than you think you should for a product, I guarantee it will not measure up to what you were expecting in the end. I looked at the ESprit package and still opted for the upgraded standalone package for more. Besides, it's only money, right? We don't get to take it with us when we die.
