Someone with great power has the great responsability to make a spidey web shooter effect!

Ive tried and failed many a time, could somebody be willing?

All i really need is a straight web like line to go from one point to another

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance

Ideally you'd create that effect in a 3D program (which I imagine is how it's done in the film). Failing that you could use stock footage. Theres an old AlamDV2 plugin made by Axeman that you could use for stock footage.

Hi,
strangely, I have been making a 3d one. Unfortunately, my attempts so far have been pretty much failures at animating it in a rope-like way;
sorry,

I tried making Spider web in EffectsLab by using a neon light with the composite mode set to normal for the web and grade objects with object masks of the web and inverted circle masks to give the web a shine.
Here's what it looks like

I also posted this in your topic in the Filmmakers Forum. smile

I do. I have 3 different ones that sound just like the movie, a sound effect for web impact, and I even have a sound effect that sounds just like his "spider-sense". I'd post them somewhere if I knew how. I'll send them to you if you want. I too have been looking for this special effect. lol I got the sound, all I need is the video.
