Copying keyframes

ok on some of the lightsabers presets it says on layer 2 copy the keyframe shapes of layer 1. how do u do that?

Once you rotoscope the first layer, copy the mask attributes (not the preset) and apply said attributes to your second layer.

To help you get the hang of the basics, like keyframes and copying and pasting, I'd recommend having a look at the video tutorials. Even if you have been using the programs for a while, there are a lot of useful tips and features in the video tutes that you may find helpful. Also the manual.

For this specific question, you need to right click the shape's name in the track listing and select 'copy'. You can then paste it into the shape track on the other layer.
