If you get VisionLab you get some extra features, the flexibility of having two programs in one (which can resuilt in a more efficient workflow) and you get a commercial license (which means you don't have to credit FXhome in your movies). You can find more specific details by checking out their product range.

Firstly, Motoman, rather then creating multiple posts throughout each of the support forums regarding the same question, simply post your inquiry once, in the forum that most appropriately suites the topic.

The decision to purchase either VisionLab Studio or both EffectsLab and CompositeLab, is a decision that should be made according to your personal circumstances. An individual may purchase VisionLab simply because they would prefer to have both programs in one interface, as well as the extra features, and can afford to do so without a second thought.

While another may purchase VisionLab out of necessity, with the commercial license as the main incentive; wishing to use an FXhome product for their work, but unable to provide the credit to FXhome that the other programs would require.

When making your choice, I suggest taking these things into account, which should make your decision an easier one. After purchasing EffectsLab and CompositeLab initially, you may find that you don't mind working between the two, and are not in the position to require a commercial license, in which case purchasing VisionLab may not be the best financial choice.

If you do happen to end up desiring VisionLabs extra features, etc, there is always the choice of upgrading from your current FXhome products, at a special upgrade cost. This way, you would not have to pay the full price of VisionLab, but would still end up paying a bit more than if you had purchased VisionLab from the beginning.

Welcome to FXhome.

You also get some additional effects that you don't get in the other products combined. Some of which are really great like bleach bypass, day for night as well as a whole host of others.

You are not prohibited from making money off of movies made with any of the Lab products, as long as you include an on-screen credit for the software. VisionLab's commercial license means you don't have to include that credit.
