Frankenstien and Dracula are fighting. This is not the real movie nor are these scenes from it. Its more of just a story board movie hope you like it.

I'm kind of shocked. Even though this is not the final movie or anything, it does not make me look forward or want to see the actual movie.

It missed everything. To me, it looked like a couple of kids playing a game rather than actually doing it for real. Also, the sound was really screeching in my ears. I reckon you should mix it a bit better; seems like you haven't at all to be honest.

Everything, however, did not make too much sense to me. It was just random people being locked up, running around, maybe talking a line, screaming a bit and attacking each other.

Hopefully you'll manage to get the actual movie better, but by this it does not surprise me if it isn't much better. This was a mess, no offense. 1/5

EDIT: And don't vote on your own films, specially not 5/5. It just shows a final rating way higher than what it actually is by an average.

I didn't even watch the whole thing. Sorry to say, but to me it just looks like a couple of kids having fun with their new camcorder.
Sorry.

im a kid about your age and i dont mean to brag but my movies are 2,000000000000000000x better than that and if i can do it you can do it to just think about the shots and the script ( and especially the audio). by the way my movie called battle of the planets will come to fxhome in about a month from now you should look for it.

Did you guys miss the description? It's not a movie, or any scene from the movie, just a story board put together in a slideshow.

That's so weird, because my movies are, oh, I dunno, about 2,000,000,000,000 times better than yours! How bizarre!

So when are you going to finish one so we can see? wink

As for the movie... I can see what you were trying to accomplish, but it didn't work. At all. The sound quality was terrible. Try to shoot the movie in a less echo-ish area. That was the main problem. Also, try to get a hold of a tripod. The camera was a bit shaky. You need to make better cuts throughout the movie. It was difficult to tell what was happening in the movie.

I think it was a good attempt as everyone starts somewhere.

My recommendations would be:

- To get hold of a cheapish external mic - you can get some really cheap ones - that will improve your sound ten fold.

- Use a tripod or if that is out of your budget make a place to put your camera on top of - some boxes with a flat top would do the trick then you can still pan and move the camera about, but without the camera shake.

- Try to imrpove on your shooting angles as these can intensify the scene and make things look a lot more exciting.

I not going to jump on the flame band wagon, therefore I will not vote purely because you didn't intend on this to be the completed product.

I hope this helps you on your main shoot.

Good luck and take care.

If this is just a storyboard (or animatic) you should probably not have put this in the cinema and instead put a link to it on the filmakers. The reson for this is that when movies are in the cinema people seem to have heigher expectations for them, even if they are unofficial.

Wow real mature. You're such a jerk.... I thought it was a great concept
and I love the croch kick gag. I understand it's a story board movie.
And again, fxhomer12236, You shouldn't say mean things like that.

FXhomer12236: Since when was this site a pissing contest? Better or worse this site is designed for film makers to try stuff out in front of a knowledgeable audience of fellow filmmakers and enthusiasts. Your ability to make a better film has no personal relevance to "Videorace123". Critiques are fine, but put downs are not needed.

And on that subject "FXHOMER12236" i looked for a film i could base your statement off of, and i found your movie submission area blank...

at least Videorace123 had the guts to post a video.

that is all.

Ok i'll agree with you that it wasn't the best movie. but ofcourse some people do start somewhere. I've made a video before and it was far worse than that. I just beleive that he has having some fun and thought he would like to share it with other people.
And also like other people have said, it would b wise to purchase a cheap tripod. A good place to search for one would be to go to a local camera store, or even somewhere like wal-mart. Obviously the tripods there aren't very good, but it would keep your camera stable and give u better quality videos.
Im looking forward to you movie.
thumbs up smile
