I am planning to do a scene in a series where every one is frozen while my main character walks around. And touches the people and they don't move at all. Every thing is frozen, even the flies and water and etc. How can I accomplish this with VisionLab? Can anyone help me please!

This effect can easily be accompliched using a very steady tripod and come painful masking.

Method One - The Crude Method
Film the scene with all the people doing their stuff
Film the same scene with your actor doing his stuff
Import both clips (your char on top)
Freeze your main footage layer
Use a garbage mask to crudely cut out your actor and apply some cleaver masks, then it will show him walking around a frozen scene.

Method Two - The Green Screen Method
Film the scene with all the people doing their stuff
Film your actor doing his stuff on green screen
Import both clips (your char on top)
Freeze your main footage layer
Key out the green screen footage to leave your actor and it will show him walking around a frozen scene.

All the best

This isn't using visionlab, but I am sure it could be translated to visionlab pretty easily (I don't know as I have not watched it) but here is a vid tutorial for freeze frame effect in after effects.

If you've seen "Heroes" they had a similar effect, it was discussed in this topic
