The FXhome.com store has been vastly upgraded to make finding your desired products much easier and less confusing. It’s now practically impossible to purchase the wrong platform or the wrong product!
Most exciting, however, is the ability to purchase boxed products direct from the FXhome.com website for the first time. Simply select ‘Shipping’ as your delivery method if you’d like a shiny box to accompany your order – although note that this inevitably has to include a shipping charge, too.

OOO! It comes in a shiny box! Just kidding. I think that delivery was a good idea because you wait for it and when you funally get it your like yes! Its finally here!

Well, I wish I had waited to get the shiny boxed version, since I have about 400 CD's lying around in my studio, most unlabeled, but I have a copy of the FX Home Vision Labs in a nice case...somewhere, it would have been nice to get a neat little package though. Something to hang on the wall to say to the clients, "Yeah, I can not only record your album, but if you want, I can shoot a video, or 3, or 10, and there is the nice $500.00 piece of equipment to do the cool editing....oh yeah, and we can use the Sony Vegas Platinum 8.0b too." LOL What I love the most about your products is the simple fact that if the average 10 or 12 or 15 year old kid wants to play around, he can talk to mom, spend a hundred and fifty dollars, and go to town with anything he wants, and the fact that you then packaged all the little programs into one biggie....that sold me. I've never looked back since.
Keep them coming!

So a friend of mine- who is an After Effects user- got CompositeLab and EffectsLab for his birthday, and he's already added full-blown, (well-done, at that!) special effects into this hour-long epic he's made. He'd been messing around for months in AE, but it took him only a few days to add hundreds of effects using the lab products.
Apparently it looks really cool. Bravo to the ease-of-use on the products.
(Oh yeah, and blackronin, I'd say Vegas Movie Studio 8 instead of just Vegas, as the latter is a pro-level NLE and the former is narrowly above entry-level. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but it might be misleading to clients and such)

Do we get to download the software as well if we buy the boxed version from TubeTape?

Yes, but not straight away. As soon as your box arrives, however, you can register it at FXhome.com, at which point your downloads are automatically activated and attached to your account.

But if we buy the boxed version from the FXhome store itself, we get to download the software straight away?

Indeed. Although you don't get a greenscreen. So it's up to you.
