absolutly brilliant! the end really creeped me out. very cinematic. i Loved it! i noticed however that it had been enveloped (the black bars at the top and bottom) so make sure you export your movie with the correct aspect ratio. is this going to be a feature film or just a short film? either way i'm loking forward to see'ing it!

I almost didn't download this because the poster picture looks like absolutely nothing... :I

But in fact, this was rather surprisingly good in terms of production values. Nice costumes, good looking actors (in terms of "they look the part" wink ), props, location. Spot on!

The direction feel of the trailer fell a bit flat for me however, so did some of the cinematography and sounddesign.

All in all, I'm looking forward to this though! Any more info on what's it going to be?

Thanks for the replies guys. The film right now is in post, with principle and extra shooting done. It will be around 30 minutes long. But we do have some leads for possibly getting it fully funded. sollthar a quick question, how did it fall flat for you as far as the direction? Oh, and sorry about the poster. We have not made one yet, it's a item on our long list. We are going to release another trailer thats more story line driven. Also was there a problem with the bars and their look, I have watched a billion times and have never witnessed a problem, please send me a screen shot of the bars being off if you can.

the black abrs arn't that noticable, but it was the 1st thing i noticed.

you can see that it is more grey than black, this will be becuase you filmed it on widescreen - 16:9 and exported it as 4:3. if you export it with the correct aspect ratio i can gurantee it will look much better! with regards to the poster, i only downloaded the film because it caught my eye, and the title leaves the film open to a number of possablities.

It's difficult to say. The whole thing just kind of fell flat for me despite of all the production values. In terms of emotional portrayal - as in what moment has what sort of impact and therefore needs to come at what time for how long - this just seemed uneven and a bit unfocused really. That's what I meant.

I mean, that's just how I see it and obviously, it can be totally different for anyone else. But I just get the feel that all the single aspects that are pretty high quality just don't come together to a convincing sum - and that's directing for me. Hm... I'm making no sense. Sorry. I really can't be anymore specific. :I

But trailers are a very difficult thing to get right anyways. So I'm really looking forward to seeing the final production!

Thanks for the look on the bars. The movie is shot in 4:3 and we put in the bars to give it a more movie feel. But I will have to look into the color. Sollthar, you know making the trailer was difficult, we wanted to get the general plot of the movie but yet not get to envolved at the same time. I do plan to release a more character driven full trailer. Thanks for the input guys.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to expect when I downloaded it. I kind of thought that the music would have been better suited to something more quickly paced, as the trailer was kind of slow moving towards the end. Looks really good in terms of production value, though.

Looks interesting to see what's gonna happen. The name definitly made me stop to check it out. Good going! I'm not too much into war/army movies, but this has caught my attention. Looking forward into seeing the whole thing.

I agree. And I have question about the F-16, is it real or CG?

BRAVO!

Nicely done. My only gripe & comment is that it didn't seem to exciting. It looked more like "What If" something actually happened? LOL!

But great footage, shooting, everything. I hope the movie its self is more you know....Uptempo

Great Job!

I LOVE the 'What If' at the end! What software did you use to do it? I thought the trailer was good too. The sounds, shots, lighting were all great. I kind of know what Sollther means about something being not-quite-right... could it be the shots are too long?... maybe your giving too much away!

Great idea by the way!

Thank you for the comments. The movie is about two snipers. There is a side story beside the main story line. In the trailer I just wanted to concentrate on the mission itself. The f-16 is stock footage. We are doing Pave hawk helicopters and cobra attack helicpoters in CGI for the movie. With some model work. but the f-16 just fit....The titles were made in after effects 7 pro.

That was very well done. The props were amazing and the camera work looked great. Nice lighting, good titles, but you may have to make it a little more up tempo, and the stock footage F-16 was very cool, looked awesome. Can't wait for the finished project!
