Lucasfilm has apparently registered six different potential titles for the upcoming Indiana Jones 4, presumably to keep us all guessing as to what it's really going to be about. There are some pretty wacky names in here, so we were wondering which name/story would be preferred by FXhomers!

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the only one I don't like, really - it's a little too 'Saturday morning cartoon', even for Indiana Jones. razz

I have to go with Quest for the Covenant, because its the only one that conveys an idea of action. To be consistent with the previous titles which had words like "Raiders," "Doom," & "Crusade," "City of the Gods" has no such connotation of action. So I'm going with "Quest for the Covenant." Though I have this sneeky suspicion that it might be none of them, they're just giving those for people to stew about, while still keeping the actual title completely unknown. cool

Is it just me or do none of those really seem to have any link with each other? I'd have thought they'd all be based around the main idea of the plot.

It's Simple.
"Indiana Jones and the City of Gods which now is the home of the Destroyer of Worlds, whom you can find at the Fourth Corner of the Earth, but don't make the mistake of traveling to the second corner which is just the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull where we went last year, but as said, on the fourth, which you have to travel through the Lost City of Gold to get to so we can finally finish our Quest for the Covenant."

He couldn't tell us anything about the film but he did say its going to be great. We can't wait!

Is it just me, or isn't the point of registering multiple, fake, titles for a film to keep the plot secret?

I mean, if they were all:

"Indiana Jones and the Milkman Mutiny"
"Indiana Jones and the Dairy Farmer of Doom"
"Indiana Jones and the Milk Float of Murder"
and
"Indiana Jones and the Paternity Test of Peril"

... then you'd have a pretty good idea of what the film was about, right? Kinda defeats the purpose of registering multiple names, no? razz

Quest of the Covenant sounds pretty cool to me, and I feel it's the most Indy-like out of the six. The City of Gods is a cool name too, but I constantly think about that Brazilian drama movie released a couple of years ago, "City of God".

I voted city of the gods because it's not to long and it has a ring to it. Also the theme of 'Lost' has been used before

Wait, is it any of them or 2 of them? I personally would see it no matter what its called or about. It could be Indiana Jones on Ice and I would see it.

Well, there it is. As official as we're gonna get right now, the fourth Indy is titled:

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
