So, I've been really annoyed lately with the overall speed of fxhome, so I figured I'd try using IE 7 to browse it, instead of the absolute newest version of firefox. Well...That fixed it.

Anyone know whats up with that?

Odd, seems fine here in Firefox. In fact, it seems slower in IE if anything. crazy

I'll make sure malone looks into it.

Are you using any add-ons in Firefox? Me and schwar do all our initial development in FF so we normally catch any major problems like that straight away. The new site is faster to load than the old version in my experience.

Strange. Using the newest version of FF here as well... How much RAM do you have Bryce007 and what is the spec of your machine?

Does it happen when you hover over buttons, or scroll? Or is it the loading which takes the time?

I've recently switched over to the newest version of Opera, and I'm loving it. A much nicer browser then FF.

However, I'm using a laptop with a gig of DDR2 ram, Geforce go 7600 (With ded 256megs) and it's got a 1.8 Core duo in it.

The site lags HEAVILY when scrolling, almost slideshow style. I wasn't using any plugins aside from flashgot and adblock.

and yes, it was absolutely the newest version of FF.
