heroes effect

im trying to figure out how to make the circle that burst through th clouds and the train that follows

The cloud wouldn't be that hard w/ a particle effect.

All you need is puffy looking textures, turn them white, and then set the angle range to 180 and then turn the emitter off before it gets to big.

Depending on how far or how close to the camera you want it you would set the scale sizes and the Particle: max, rate, liftime and the size and speed randomizers.

It doesn't seem like a hard effect to create.

The only idea i got from the trail would be to use the neon light engine and turn of the glow add a feather and maybe (if needed to) change the blending modes.

Yo Fxmaniac! I just made the poof part of this. i could not figure out how to make the trail thing after the poof.but it should be up in about a week

cool, i think i fiugered out how to do the trail so ill try to put it up if it works

EDIT: i tried uploading and it says something like file corrupt or something like that

try to reupload it. if that didn't work you may have to do it all over again.(as in make it again)

P.s. the preset is called heroes Smoke Poof

Just saw that episode on Tv. I ran to computer to check for any presets for that effect only to see you beat me to it! smile
