I cannot get Plugger to even load up. Can anyone help? The error message that comes up when I try to load is as follows:

Director Player Error
Unable to load movie playlist. Does the .INI file exist? It must contain a section '[Movies]' with an entry 'Movie01=Pathname.dir'.

After this message, it tells me this director is stopping. Then it tells me that the application cannot run and shuts down.

Please help.

It is on a PC and I did try reinstalling it. I am using the demo version of ALAMDV2, could that be the problem?

I've got the full registered version of ALAMDV2 and when I came to have a play with the Plugger last night I got exactly the same error message. Any thoughts?

It actually does work with the demo because I have it too. Can you all give me the specs of your systems, I may be able to help.

My specs are: Winbook XL2 PC with a Celeron 500, Windows 98, 192 Megs of RAM, 6 Gig Hard Drive with about 1.5 Gigs free. I have the latest versions of Quicktime and Direct X. I am using the demo version of AlamDV2.

I just tried the Plugger on my other machine and got the same error. It is a Pentium 166 (yes I know it would be slow anyway), Windows 98, and again the demo version of AlamDV 2.1. This version of Alam was updated June 20, 2002 according to the download page.

Can someone please help. I want to buy AlamDV but not until Plugger works.

Thanks

I tried the "plugger v05.a" that I could download from the Plug-ins section (try the "creating plugins" link). This one works fine.

But the plugger included in the package "Alamdv2.1 Developper" seams to be an old version (v05.0) !

Hope this can help.

Ok downloading the older version of Plugger worked. That older version loads up fine. Thanks mpalosse. I really appreciate your help, now I can play.

Right, the fixed developer installer is being uploaded now..

It was one of those problems that Macromedia adds to test me smile

The icon didn't include a 48x48pixel version so it bombs - good old Macromedia. They love to play with my MIND.... tard
