I find that, as a filmmaker, there is one deficiency I have a hard time swallowing. I have no control over the output of my end product. An example: I would love to specify the flash output as using X bit rate for the audio. Instead, I can only use Y. Same with video bitrates. Output customizability is what I'm driving at here.
Now, if this product is geared toward cookiecutter-esqe outputs only, then that’s fine. But for me, this means the utilitarian nature of the software has decreased. I'm stuck with what has been predetermined. If there are, however, plans in the future for adding custom output options, then forget everything I just said.
These are the rantings of a satisfied (mostly) software purchaser.
